With in-house branding specialists, architects, interior designers, product designers and landscape architects, the expertise and talent to conceptualize a complete lifestyle product line that includes a successful approach to off-site built housing was a tantalizing challenge. We quickly realized that the answer was comprehensive - dwellings, furniture, lighting, accessories and textiles with a common purpose - simple, purposeful, ecological and crafted. We wanted design that could incorporate elements of nature and be eco-friendly at our heart. At the same time, each piece had to be conceived with intelligent style and a clean, minimalist aesthetic in mind. The HOM Lifestyle products also fell squarely under KAA Design Groups mantra of "designing for the future prosperity of the planet." This meant manufacturing products intelligently by using sustainable resources and recycled materials. We named this product line HOM Escape in Style, a name that seemed to announce that even the most remote locales could now have a simple, respectful and luxurious lifestyle.
