Entry Title: "On The Streets of Nepal"

Entry Description:

Power lines, shop signs and motor vehicles are just some of the indications that this is the Nepal of 2013. In this series I explore the country along the lanes and alleyways formed centuries ago. I used only iPhone; unobtrusive, lightweight, versatile. The people in these images are distant, connected only to their daily life, their tasks, their environment. I feel I am a painter, interpreting a scene remembered, monochrome and silent, but it spreads before me in the full colours of the here and now and the sound of dogs barking in the distance tells me this is Nepal.
