In February 2013 I began an environmental design development consultancy in Nepal, and created a Facebook Album - The Nepal Diaries. I wanted it to incorporate an iPhone picture and text, a JPG - immediate and small enough to be uploaded with even the weakest Internet connection.

In February 2013 I began an environmental design development consultancy in Nepal, and created a Facebook Album - The Nepal Diaries. I wanted it to incorporate an iPhone picture and text, a JPG - immediate and small enough to be uploaded with even the weakest Internet connection.

It began in February during my flight from Helsinki to Kathmandu, and ended in May. The Facebook application was ideal for the circumstances providing a vivid interaction with an audience who would otherwise be limited by a physical gallery space and personal attendance and instead the response of likes comments and discussions from around the world indicated a powerful new tool for me in reaching a new interactive audience.
